Third-Party API Usage Fees
NovelVox integrates with multiple third-party applications across healthcare, automotive, banking, and other industries. Some third-party applications charge separate API usage fees, access fees, transaction fees, data usage fees, or subscription charges.
These charges are not included in NovelVox product, subscription, implementation, or support fees. Where applicable, they are billed separately based on the third-party application’s pricing model.

How Third-Party API Usage Fees Are Charged
Third-party API usage fees are billed directly by NovelVox to the customer.
NovelVox will bill these charges on a quarterly basis in advance, based on the expected API usage amount for the upcoming three-month period. The prepaid quarterly amount will be calculated by NovelVox using expected usage, applicable third-party pricing, transaction volume, and relevant usage assumptions.
Actual usage will be tracked monthly, and a monthly usage and balance report will be shared with the customer within the first 15 days of each month.
Any unused balance from the prepaid amount will be carried forward and adjusted against the next quarterly invoice.
If actual usage exceeds the prepaid amount, the overage will generally be adjusted in the next billing cycle. However, if the prepaid amount is consumed earlier than expected, NovelVox may issue an interim invoice to cover continued usage.
Transaction Definition
A transaction refers to a single API operation, which may include:
- Call
- PUT
- Other API routes
Multiple transactions may be required to complete a single task, query, or update.

Third-party API usage fees may vary based on actual usage, transaction volume, third-party pricing, data access, and changes made by the third-party application provider.
These charges are passed through to the customer as applicable and are billed separately from NovelVox product, subscription, implementation, and support fees.
